MAGDALENA BAY, BAJA SUR, Mexico
Over 200 miles of connected pristine bays, white sand beaches, dramatic islands, and endless mangrove channels... Mag Bay truly is the Jurassic Park of fishing. Join us in targeting offshore pelagic species, specifically marlin, tuna, and dorado, as well as fishing the beaches and mangroves inshore for roosterfish, snook, corvina, spotted bass, snappers, triggers, golden trevally, grouper, and halibut.

LODGING: We’ve rented out a safe and clean Hotelito located three blocks from the boat launch in the town of Puerto Lopez Mateos. The rooms are single-occupancy, each with a bathroom and air conditioning. There’s limited WIFI and light laundry service is available onsite. We set up “Fish Camp North”... think rod washing racks, BBQ, fly tying, cornhole.
FISHING: Trailered boats pick up guests in front of the hotel at sunrise (6:15am) and return 4-5:00pm. We fish 2 anglers/panga. The pangas are spacious at 29ft. in length, with casting platforms forward and aft. These boats are designed specifically for this area and are stable and comfortable both inshore and offshore. Be prepared to run up to 20 miles offshore and 20+ miles south depending on target species and where the fish are being sighted.
FOOD: Breakfast is grab-and-go, and lunches are eaten on the boat. Dinners will be a mix of seafood-heavy adventures at a few local restaurants and BBQ with our Chef Extraordinaire Emilio. Think lobster, shrimp, halibut, oysters and more...
GEAR: A detailed gear list will be provided, but anything from an 8wt to a 14wt can get play in Mag Bay. Go-to rods are 10wt and 12wt. Guests will need to be prepared for various weather conditions, bring quick dry and waterproof layers. Prepare to enter a truly wild place!
INCLUDED: 5 days guided fishing, 6 nights accommodations (single-occupancy), gear, meals, drinks, a Mexican fishing license, and round-trip transport from Loreto Airport (LTO).
NOT INCLUDED: Gear rentals and gratuities.
