BITTER WATER: FEATURED IN SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

Bitter Water is a short film directed by Peter Grigsby that follows the Lucero family—a father and two sons—along Baja’s Sea of Cortez, where fly fishing, family and the pursuit of roosterfish all come together.

Writer and angler Ken Baldwin featured the film in Sports Illustrated’s Fishing on SI, calling out not only the fishing and cinematography, but the bigger story behind it: the connection between fly fishing, healthy fisheries and the communities built around them. He also gives The Fish Ranch a little love after spotting a familiar face throwing a fly from the beach.
